One guest list, not six
The modules are not separate apps sitting side by side. A guest you enter once counts in the budget, takes a seat in the plan, has a meal in the catering sheet and gets a link to the website. When they decline, all of that changes at once — which is the whole difference from three spreadsheets you reconcile by hand.
Written for real weddings, not for a template
The budget assumes both families chip in, and keeps a pledge apart from money that has actually arrived. The checklist knows that paperwork has statutory deadlines and that they differ by country. Guests are kept as households, because invitations go to families rather than to individuals.
What you can take away without the app
The checklist downloads as a PDF and the budget calculator runs in your browser, both without an account and without an email address. If paper works for you, use paper — planning a wedding is not a contest in tool adoption. The app earns its place only once the plan starts moving: answers arrive, the headcount changes, the date shifts.
Where to start when it is all too much
In two steps, not in all of them at once. The guest list first, even as a guess — the venue size, the catering cost and half the budget all follow from it, so while the headcount is open every number under it is open too. Then the budget, so you know what you can afford to book. Seating, meals and the run sheet are work for later; before the RSVP deadline you would only do them twice.
What WeddinGlad will not do for you
It will not choose your suppliers or negotiate with them — there are pages of prices and questions for that, but the deciding still happens elsewhere. It will not deal with the registry office on your behalf; it will only tell you about the deadlines in time. And it will not decide who cannot sit next to whom: you record that, and the app then holds it through every change.
Two of you planning, but not on your own
You both run the wedding and you both see the same thing — no file version one of you has a newer copy of. You can bring in witnesses, parents or a coordinator, each separately and only for what concerns them: some may read, some may edit tasks. Every change records who made it and when, which matters exactly when two people remember an agreement differently.
Guests set nothing up
Eighty guests means eighty people who never need to know WeddinGlad exists. Each household gets its own link and answers for everyone in it, picks a meal and notes an allergy — on a phone, in half a minute. No account, no password, nothing to install.
You can look inside without signing up
It all runs in a browser, on a laptop and on a phone, and installs nothing. There is a demo wedding you can open without registering, and once you start your own you can export your data whenever you like — nothing here is held hostage.
What costs what
Up to forty guests the whole app is free, with no time limit and no card. Above that, the full version unlocks for a single payment of 490 CZK — one payment, no renewal.
