What WeddinGlad is
A wedding planning tool: guest list, RSVPs, budget, suppliers, run sheet, seating plan and a page for guests. It is used by you, your partner, and the people you invite into the planning.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account or with a link sent to your email. Access to that email is your responsibility — whoever reaches it reaches the wedding.
You can delete your account, along with the weddings you own, at any time in settings. If you are the sole owner of a wedding you must first hand it to somebody else or delete it — a wedding with no owner would have no administrator, and nobody, ourselves included, could put that right.
Payment and licence
- The full version costs 490 CZK and lasts 18 months for one wedding.
- The payment does not renew automatically. We will not charge you again and there is nothing for you to cancel.
- One of you buys the licence and it unlocks the whole wedding for everyone working on it.
A gifted licence
We can give the full version away — to friends, to competition winners, to anyone. It is activated by a link, lasts the same 18 months as a purchased one, and you pay nothing for it. The app marks it as a gift, so you know why nothing was charged and when it runs out.
Because it is not a purchase there is nothing to refund and no fourteen-day withdrawal period — there is nothing to withdraw from. A gift is non-transferable and tied to the account that activated it. We can invalidate the link at any time; that does not take away a licence already activated.
When a gifted licence ends, the same happens as after a paid one expires: you keep your data and can export it. If you want to carry on, you buy the full version in the ordinary way.
When the licence expires
You do not lose your data and nobody is locked out. You can still see everything you entered, export it, and keep using the free features. The only thing that stops is adding new items in the full-version modules.
Locking a couple out of their own guest list over an unpaid 490 CZK strikes us as unacceptable, so that is not how it works.
Withdrawing from the contract
As a consumer you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason.
For digital content delivered immediately, the right to withdraw ends once you expressly consent to delivery and acknowledge that you thereby lose that right. That is exactly what we ask of you at payment — with a checkbox above the button — because otherwise we could not unlock the full version straight away, but only after fourteen days. We record when you consented.
We will refund you anyway if you write within 14 days. That is our own commitment beyond the law rather than a statutory period — and it applies without questions.
What we ask of you
- Upload only content you have the right to — photographs, documents, text.
- Use invitation emails for nothing other than inviting people to your own wedding.
- Do not try to circumvent limits or load the service automatically.
Guest data
You enter your guests’ names and contact details. In relation to that data you are the controller and we are the processor — in practice, decisions about your guests are yours rather than ours. The detail is in the privacy notice.
Availability and liability
The service is run by one person and we do what we can to keep it up. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, or that nothing will ever go wrong. We are not liable for indirect loss — a cancelled wedding, lost profit, or the consequences of decisions you made on the basis of the app.
We recommend exporting the things that matter — the guest list, the budget, the run sheet — before the wedding. Exporting is free and is in the app.
Ending
You can delete a wedding at any time. After deletion you have 30 days to restore it; after that it is deleted irreversibly, photographs and documents included. We can close an account only for a breach of these terms, and we will tell you beforehand where we can.
Changes to these terms
If the terms change materially we will tell you by email in advance. A licence already paid for is governed by the terms in force when it was paid.
If we disagree
Write to us first — almost everything can be settled by email. If it cannot, as a consumer you have the right to out-of-court dispute resolution. The competent body is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, Štěpánská 44, 110 00 Prague 1, adr.coi.cz. You can also use the European online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
